Lunch Beers
Oh my gosh,
So two weeks ago it all started. I am working for my dad's recruiting/staffing business he owns and operates. The older lady that works in front of me was acting a little weird and kept doing something under her desk. I heard a pouring noise and I did not really think anything of it, until I noticed that she was not drinking any coffee or tea or any thing I could notice as a co-worker.
After she left for the day I go and check her waste basket and there were four MGD glass bottles in there!
So ya wow. I really wanted to tell my dad but I felt bad like I should give her a break. I am really glad I came to the conclusion to tell him because you really cant do that and work and there is no excuse for it. And even if it was an off day for her he still should know.
The person the always works late in the office working hard getting stuff done was still there so I asked my dad to come back to where the desk I work at is. I quietly showed him because I didnt want to just announce it to the office and have things get out of hand.
The really funny thing is that the day I found those 4 beers in her garbage was the day she left early for Traffic court!!!!!
The next day at the office I swear I heard the first pouring noise in the morning. Maybe 10 or 11 AM
I didnt say anything to her about it and just went about my day like normal. After she left there was a big can in there that are the size of those steel reserve cans. And there were atleast 2 smaller beer cans an another glass bottle. I didnt check to see if it was a 40oz though. My dad saw that and I think then he really new he had to fire her.
My dad put up the house to buy the business. The problem is if the business goes under he will lose his house. And having someone drinking on the job really makes for bad situations that could make my dad liable and potentially lose his house his family lives in. I think he took it personally that someone would do this to him, not to the business.
I then took friday off and my dad fired her. He was saying how she went on a rant about many things but he told me how she said my dad made bad hireing decisions and started talking bad about other people and how they take time off. She also later went into saying how the business will now fail with out her. The funny thing is that the other person my dad fired because he was doing business on the side and basically stealing money from the business. He said the exact same thing saying that the business would fail about him. My dad said there were beer containers in her garbage when she left on that friday. The best part about the story that my dad told on Saterday morning was that she said that there were other businesses out there that let you drink on the job.
Ok, so on the following monday I was instructed by my dad to clean up her desk. OMG she had totally crapped up her desk. There was like food every where and there was a funky smell comming form her desk. It took me like all day to clean up her desk. I had washed the entire desk down and had replaced the mouse and keyboard that had gotten so dirty with her using it.
Later in the day at like 2 she showed and I told her how that her stuff was in the left two drawers. And she came back and said "I know where my stuff is". She then goes into rant time saying how she had only been nice to me, and then she asked me if I had been the one the turned her in. I said no. She kept on going saying how when people grow up they need to have resposibilteis and they are adults,.... and then she says oh sorry your not an adult Im sorry. (what a bitch) She kept going and she wanted to know from me if I had ever paid any bills in my life. I told her that I paid for my college living expensises and then she is like no I didnt my dad paid for it all. (I was laughing to my self because I had set up automatic payment of some college loans I am pay to the tune of 15,000+. She then keeps going and says how my dad is all washed up and lost a bunch of jobs and then says how he is basically broke and then says my mom had to buy the business for him. (I stopped talked after I realized winnig an argument with a drunk would not really be that great).
Ugg, I was getting so frustrated with her stupid comments I just wanted to smack her in the back of the head and then tell her off. I didnt say or do anything because I didnt want to start a lawsuit that would be brought against myself or my dad. Later my dad came in asking if she needed any help with getting her crap. My dad put together a card board box to put her stuff in. He then opened up her desk and phyically put her stuff in the box that was hers. I put her speakers that were hers into the box for her. In the mean time my dad talked to her because she wanted to talk to him for some reason. He basically told me later that she went on a rant about other people in the office and other crap like that then she start talking about my mom and my dad stopped her and ask her were this was going. She then responded that she wanted them to get past what happend. My dad was like Okay great no dissagreement there.
They came out and my dad had me carry down the coard board box for her. She was stumbling bad and freaking stumbled into the hallway in the loddy of the floor where she couldnt walk stait and walked into the wall, then had to stop and then tried to get back to walking strait. My dad then called us back into the office get crap out the refrige. I was the first one back into the hallway and I walked over the the elevater and put the button for the elevated like 2 times and she was still not there. I then turned around to the office and my dad said 'I think someone is waiting for you at the elevater'. I then turned around the press the button for the elevater. She finally showed up and then I got on the elevater and then she made a Bee line right to the table and chairs there and plopped her ass down there. I put the box down next to her and ask if this was where she wanted it. She said yes and I turned around and did not say anything else.
The next two days I spend deleting crap off her computer that was from her and the person before her. So freaking boring. I had to check dates on so many files and anything from this year I kept.
Wow, so that crap is all done with. I still dont understand drinking on the job, not to mention freaking 4 beers.
My brother worked there over the summer and I wonder if he noticed anything weird that I also noticed but did not check it out.

Ack I there needs to be more time in the weekend
Ack I there needs to be more time in the weekend, I have like 20 million things I am trying to do at the same time lately. I have been feeling the stress at work so I have been wanting to play some video games and get into a really good game lately. Too bad I have not found the time to do that or found that game that will suck my time away while I get sucked into a good story.
Anyways the Bears won, so I think the rest will go rather good. Later

Owww Stupid Bike
Owww Stupid Bike
I was riding my older mountain style bike on Tuesday and usually try to keep up a rather fast pace because otherwise I feel like I am going too slow. So I am riding along putting all my weight on the petal when I comes around and when I pushed down it gave me no resistance and my foot went slamming down and hit the handlebars. I kepts happening to me like 3-4 times. Seriously OWWW

Universal Health Care
I was watching a thing on universal health care on a pbs special that looked at other universal health care systems around the world. The old dude was looking at it from what the USA could adopt. I really liked it.
I really hope the US moves to universal health care like that but some how I really dont see Obama doing that. I mean the guy has already been saying the change thing for long enough now.

Getting stuff done today
I helped convince my dad that the RAM in the computer at work are way too low and putting in more RAM would be so cheap it that it would be hard to say no. Like 3 weeks ago we ordered the RAM for the computers on NewEgg and there was one piece of RAM they did not have so they decided to hold the entire order.
After my dad got online and tried to figure out what was going on he ended up canceling the order. Last week Wednesday or Thursday I ordered the RAM and on like Monday the RAM was here. As I said it earlier I put it in last night and one of the three computers is noticeable faster. The other two are only a little bit faster.
Anyways I got that done and then last night after saying late and installing RAM I came home after not eating a lunch to having corned beef and cabbage that was awesome. I later sat around the house zoning on out the TV. I found a show on NBC that was called LIFE, I liked the show. It is the first time I have watched the show so there was some underlying stuff that I didnt understand but I liked the main actor very much. I had liked his performance in the movie Dreamcatcher.
On a side not I like the new DigitalTV that we have in the sunroom but being an avid fast channel surfer has slowed me down because changing channels takes more time.
Anyways, I was lazy as hell this morning at watched a bunch of podcasts that I had been downloading this weekend. I really like that DemocracyNow! podcast. Those TED conferences are also really good but I have like 20 new ones to watch and they are like 20min each. I have been trying to watch one a day unless it is really boring.

Ugg
Ugg, this weekend I have been helping out with pictures for soccer. It was like 5,000 kids last weekend. It was kind of crazy but it would have gotten so behind if me and my girlfriend was not there. You could tell she was having a blast, I was having less fun than she was for sure. I remember when I was a little tike and it was really crazy. I was telling everyone to come into the gym and cather there team together. I remember back in the day when you would go to one of these things and there would be people in the hallways, outside, and near the photo area and no one would know where anyone would be.
I did not get very much stuff done this weekend but I watched the Bears beat the Eagles. I also went to a mall on Saterday after the soccer stuff and in there a lady approached me and my g/f and ask if we wanted to do a survey. They said they would pay her for trying a facial lotion after like 10days. Then she asked for me if there was anything they had for me and they did.
They had me watch a Max Paine trailer. It looked okay but the old CRT was really really bad and the speakers they had were really quite. They asked me a buch of questions about the trailer and if I would go to see it and that kind of thing. I think I would have been harder on the movie if I remember that the movie trailer I watched earlyer was R. I have seen too many bad PG-13 action movies based on vidoe games/comic books. I dont really remember if they said they would pay me but it was fun just giving my opinion about it because I could not be wrong. Best kind of test.
Anyways I gotta get back to work.

Hello World!
Hello World!!!
I have been reading a lot about Linux on the interweb and I really like their philosophy of it being free and community supported.
I downloaded the .iso of the long term version of Ubuntu that just came out this year. It was originally for my g/f laptop computer because she thinks it keeps shutting down randomly because of VISTA.
After looking around for about a week and that is the amount of time for me to want to walk away from Windows and other OS's. I really wish gaming was better on Ubuntu and linux in general but I just feel like I need to support the open source community.
I have also been hating on Apple because I got an 5.5gen ipod and I really hate how you have to only use itunes for it. I put on rockbox so I could put on a custum version of software so that I could play .flac flies on it and so that I dont have to use itunes. I can use whatever I want. I have also been liking Songbird. I can load my rockbox ipod on it and its mad by the firefox people so you know it cant be that bad.
Go go open source.
LOL, PS I have been wanting to put XMBC on my xbox but I have not found the time for it.

Hey I am finally back
